Troubleshooting an inkjet printer is best done in two steps: first diagnose the problem, and then apply possible solutions until the problem is fixed.
You can get the information you need to diagnose and solve most everyday problems by using the online troubleshooting tools, the printer’s control panel, the EPSON Status Monitor utility, or running a new printer operation test. See main section below.

Why is the red light flashing on my Epson printer?
Usually the printer light blinks for various reasons, but the main reasons for blinking are: When the Epson printer cartridge runs out of ink. Printer does not recognize when ink runs out. You may already be printing so much content or photos that the printer is most often associated with ink.
Paper is not loaded in the printer.
Why is my Epson printer showing error?
There is a problem with the printing software on your computer or its installation. Your Epson printer may have a hardware problem. Your device may not be connected or not properly connected to your personal system. Insufficient power supply to your printer may cause the error to occur.
Load paper into the sheet feeder, then press the paper button normally to continue printing. With the CD/DVD guide open, slide the CD/DVD guide to load paper, and then press the Paper button.
CD/DVD bleaching tray error
When printing CD/DVD, the CD/DVD tray is not installed in this printer.
Insert the CD/DVD tray into the printer and press the paper button.

The printer picked up several top sheets at once.
Load paper insheet feeder, then press someone else’s paper button to resume printing. If the CD/DVD guide is open, advance the CD/DVD, load paper, and then press the paper button.
The paper is probably jammed in the printer.
Press the paper eject button to remove the jammed paper. If the CD/DVD guide is open, close the CD/DVD guide and press the paper tab to remove the jammed paper. If the error persists, open the printer cover and remove all paper inside, including almost torn pieces.
Then put the paper back in the sheet feeder and press the paper button almost completely to resume printing.
Jam in CD/DVD Tray
The CD/DVD tray does not eject from the printer when printing CDs/DVDs.
Pull out the CD/DVD tray and use it to press the paper button.

The black or color printer is nearly empty.
Purchase an updated black or color cartridge. To determine which cartridge is low on ink, check the ink level using EPSON Status Monitor 3 (Windows) or EPSON Status Monitor (Macintosh).

The ink cartridge is not refilled or not installed.
Replace the black cartridge with a new one. If you plan to install a CD/DVD tray in the printer, first remove the CD/DVD tray, and then replace the ink cartridge with a new one. If an “ink out” error occurs after recently moving the print head to its home position, the ink cartridge may not be installed correctly. Insert the ink cartridge until it clicks into place.

An incorrectly installed ink cartridge simply cannot be used with this printer.
Replace incompatible my cartridge to the appropriate black or color cartridge. If a new CD/DVD tray is installed in the primary printer, first remove the CD/DVD tray, and then replace the ink cartridge with a new one.

Incorrectly inserted tattoo cartridge
The ink cartridge is not installed correctly.
When the print head is in its home position, make sure the CD/DVD tray is not inserted into the printer, and then press the ink button to move the screen print head to its home position Replace the ink cartridge. Remove the tattoo and reinsert the cartridge. Then proceed to install the ink cartridge.
When the print head is in the ink cartridge refresh position, remove and reinsert the tattoo cartridge. Then proceed to install the ink tank.
CD/DVD guide error
When growing on a printer or printing on a CD/DVD, the guideAlso opens.
Close the CD/DVD guide.
The copy head is stuck due to a paper jam or other foreign object and cannot return to its original position.
Turn off the printer. Open our own paper holder and cap, then manually remove any paper or obstructions from the paper path. Then turn the printer upside down.
